How many of you have purchased something grocery-wise thinking you were getting a good deal only to get home and find you have been deceived by deceptive packaging?
AND TOILET PAPER! DON'T GET ME STARTED! IT HAS SHRUNK FROM SIDE-TO-SIDE! It is cheap & falls apart a good share of the time leaving little wads of... well you know what and you know WHERE! :)
Or, you have bought a box of Lubricant Eye Drops... but upon opening it, you disgustedly come to the realization that the container has a cardboard filler-flap inserted in the bottom of it to ENLARGE THE BOX, making it appear to contain a bigger bottle of solution than it actually does?
What about Granola Bars? Cereals? Fish Wedges? Candy Bars? A famous Cinnamon/Raisin Bread? Everything, it seems, has shrunk in size, yet the price has gone up! One time, I opened a box of a well-known brand of Fish Wedges to find that 3 of the 10 supposed to be in the box were the size of Fish Sticks; the remaining other ones were quite small, too. Not what I was used to seeing when I had purchased them previously. On the box was listed "Enlarged to Show Quality and Value". Ha Ha, what a joke... THAT IS WHY I TITLED THIS BLOG "ENLARGED TO DECEIVE!"
Is there any way we can stop this foolishness? Being taken advantage of by the companies who produce our food? Put in your 2 CENTS worth! Speak your mind! Where is OUR MONEY'S WORTH?
